Patente töten – Medizin für Alle!
Statt in der Krise solidarisch zu handeln, blockiert die EU unter Vorsitz von Deutschland die Forderung nach patentfreien Covid-Impfstoffen und der Aussetzung von geistigen Eigentumsrechten und sichert damit einzelnen Pharmaunternehmen Milliadenprofite. Damit verhindert die EU einen gerechten Zugang und die schnellere Produktion von mehr Impfstoff und Diagnosemethoden für alle Menschen, egal ob auf der Nord- oder Südhalbkugel.
Der Kampf um Befreiung ist international
Die Krise wird weltweit dafür genutzt, soziale Kämpfe für ein gerechtes und würdevolles Leben noch intensiver und gewaltvoller durch staatliche Maßnahmen z.B. in Wallmapu (Chile/Argentinien) oder Kriegstreiberei bswp. in Kurdistan zu unterdrücken. Die Knäste sind voll mit Gefangenen, die extremer Ansteckungsgefahr ausgesetzt sind. Durch die Verschiebung vom Fokus der Medien auf die neusten Coronazahlen können Diktaturen und Autokrat*innen noch ungestörter soziale Bewegungen gewaltvoll untderdrücken. Dennoch lassen sich Menschen von Belarus über Kurdistan bis nach Chile nicht einschüchtern und halten fest an einer möglichen Welt ohne Unterdrückung und Ausbeutung von Mensch und Natur.
Deutsche Waffen, deutsches Geld…
Deutschland befeuert die Gewalt weltweit durch Rüstungsexporte (4,9 Milliarden Euro in 2020) insbesondere in Kriegsgebiete und erhöht nebenbei noch den „Verteidigungshaushalt“ auf den neuen Höchstand seit Ende des zweiten Weltkrieges. Die Summe von 50,32 Milliarden Euro (2020) ist weit über das Doppelte, was jährlich für Bildung und Forschung ausgegeben wird, und weit über 10 Milliarden Euro mehr als für den Gesundheitssektor.
Eine massive Aufrüstung und Militarisierung ist zurzeit in der gesamten Europäischen Union insbesondere im Bereich der sogenannten „inneren Sicherheit“ und des Ausbaus des Grenzregimes geplant.
Für eine solidarische Lösung der Krisen fordern wir:
· Abschaffung von geistigen Eigentumsrechten auf pharmazeutische Produkte – denn Arzneimittel sind globale öffentliche Güter. Pharmaunternehmen enteigen!
· Mit Gesundheit darf kein Profit erwirtschaftet werden! Medizin für Alle!
· Rüstungsindustrie einstampfen – Betriebe demokratisieren und Produktion umstellen!
· War starts here – Lets stop it here – Die Milliarden werden dringend woanders gebraucht!
· Solidarität und die aktive Förderung sozialer und revolutionärer Kämpfe weltweit! Keine Zusammenarbeit und wirtschaftlicher Handel mit unterdrückenden Regimen!
Die Pandemie zeigt: Wir sind abhängig voneinander und das nicht nur in unserem nächsten Umfeld, sondern weltweit. Deshalb kann die soldarische Lösung der Coronakrise nur eine Internationale sein!

For an international solution of the crisis
Patents kill – medicine for all
Instead of trying to solve this crisis in solidarity, the EU, lead by Germany, blocks proposals to suspend patents and rights to intellectual property of vaccines and thus secure billions in profits for pharamceutical corporations. In this way, the EU impedes just access to and swift production of more vaccines and diagnostic methods for all, no matter if north or south of the globe.
The struggle for liberation is international
This crisis is used worldwide to intensify violent oppression of social struggles for justice and dignity, like in Wallmapu (Chile/Argentinien) or in Kurdistan, where this oppression amounts to war mongering. Prisons are packed, thus posing an extreme high risk of infections for inmates.
Due to the media’s attention shifting on Corona numbers, it’s gotten even easier for dictatorships and autocrats to suppress social movements violently. But people from Belarus to Kurdistan to Chile aren’t easily intimidated and hold on to a possible world free oppression and exploitation of people and nature.
German Arms, German Money…
Germany is fueling conflicts worldwide by arms exports (4,9 Billion Euro in 2020) especially in war regions and at the same time expanded its so called defence budget to new volumes unseen since World War II. The amount of 50,32 Billion (2020) is more than two times higher than education and research expenditure, and more than 10 Billion over health expenditures.
A massive rearmament and militarization in the whole European Union can bee seen especially in the fields of inner security and border control.
For a just solution to the crises we demand:
- abolition of intellectual property on pharmaceutical products – medicine is a global public property. Expropriate pharmaceutical corporations!
- No profits with health! Medicine for all!
- Destroy the arms industry! Democratize factories, convert the production!
- War starts here – lets stop it here! Those billions are needed elsewhere!
- Solidarity and active support for social and revolutionary struggle worldwide! No cooperation or trade with oppressive regimes!
This pandemic shows us: We’re dependent on each other, not just on those surrounding us, but worldwide! The only just solution to this crisis is international!
