Wohnungsnot für Mieter*innen, Miliardengewinne für Immobilienkonzerne
Bezahlbarer und gesicherter Wohnraum ist während der Pandemie für noch mehr Menschen zum existenziellen Problem geworden. Ursache ist dabei die kapitalistische Verwertung der lebensnotwendigen Ressource „Wohnraum“. Denn obwohl es eigentlich genügend Wohnraum für alle gibt, wird dieser für viele Menschen zu unerschwinglichen Preisen vermietet. Und während Wohnungskonzerne wie Vonovia trotz Corona weiter Miliardengewinne einfahren, wird es für uns immer schwieriger bei Kurzarbeit oder Arbeitslosigkeit weiter die Miete und Energiekosten zu zahlen.
Wenn Abstandhalten nicht möglich ist
Gleichzeitig ist das viel geforderte Abstand halten, das die Verbreitung von Corona verlangsamen soll, für Viele eine kaum umsetzbare Aufforderung. Obdachlose, Geflüchtete und Gefangene sind durch die Unterbringung in Lagern, Sammelunterkünften und Knästen besonders gefährdet an Covid-19 zu erkranken. Gesundheit und Würde hängen jedoch auch von der Verfügbarkeit von Wohnraum für alle Menschen ab!
Solidarische Wohnzusammenhänge
Wohnzusammenhänge können ein Netzwerk sein, um sich gegen die Isolation zu verbünden. Nachbarschaften, WG‘s, Wohnprojekte oder Familien können zusammen der Vereinzelung entgegenwirken, sich gemeinsam organisieren und sich umeinander kümmern. Der temporäre Verlust naher Bezugspersonen kann durch ein solidarisches Miteinander im Wohnzusammenhang abgefangen werden.
Für eine solidarische Lösung der Krisen fordern wir:
· Keine Miete während Corona! Erlass aller Mietschulden!
· Stopp aller Zwangsräumungen! Stopp aller Wasser-, Gas- und Stromsperren!
· Auflösung von Sammelunterkünften und Lagern! Stattdessen ausreichende und dezentrale Unterbringung für alle Menschen ohne festen Wohnsitz und Gelüchtete!
· Neue Wohnkonzepte bzw. alternative Wohnformen anerkennen und fördern!
· Wohnraum für alle, und zwar umsonst!
· Kollektivierung von Wohneigentum und Nutzung von Leerstand!
Die Häuser denen, die drin wohnen – Für ein selbstbestimmtes und freies Leben für alle!

Good living space for all!
Housing shortage for tenants, billions in profit for real estate corporations
Affordable and secure living space has become and existential problem for even bigger parts of the population during this crisis. This is caused by commodification of the essential resssource „housing“. Even if there’s plenty of living space so all could have access to affordable housing, more often than not this is rented out to exorbitantly high prices. And while real estate corportations like Vonovia make billions in profit, it has become even more difficult to pay the bills due to being on furlough or losing our job.
When it’s simply not possible to keep your distance
At the same time, distance keeping -important for slowing down the spread of CoViD-19 – is a demand impossible to meet for many. The homeless, refugees and prisoners are at a extremely high risk of catching the virus due to their placement in camps, collective accomodations and prisons. Health and dignity can’t be seperated from the availability of affordable housing.
Organizing housing in solidarity
Housing connections are a possibility of a network allying against isolation. Neighbourhoods, cohabitations, housing projects or familiey can get together to fight the seperation, organize themselves and take care of each other. The temporary loss of those close to us can be compensated by cooperation in solidarity with those living around us.
For a just solution to the crises we demand:
- No rents during this crisis! Remission of all rent debts
- put evictions to a halt! No blockage of water, electricity or gas!
- Breakup of collective accomodations and camps! Adequate and decentralized housing for those without a permanent home and refugees!
- Acceptance of and support for alternative housing concepts
- housing for all – without rent!
- Collectivization of real estates and no more empty houses!
Houses to those who live in ‚em – For a life in self-determination for all!
